Sunday School will start at 9:15 am with a Music Program.
The # of Sunday School classes will be determined
by # of children each Sunday. Classes
are upstairs at 9:30 a.m.
The children may act as greeters for the 10:30
church service, look for the young faces.
Follow the Happy Feet signs to the Nursery,
open at 10:30 a.m.

At different times, we are going to have our youth take over Music Director duties, read the Timeless Word and Moment for Mission, and be more involved in preparing for the day when God calls them to be leaders of the church and to do His bidding as such.
Our mission is to teach the children that they are precious children of God as is everyone; and as such, show them the joy and peace that God brings to their lives and teach God's instructions of reaching out to others with God's love and being God's hands and heart here on earth.
"Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

High School Graduates attending or beginning
post high school or college, who are members and active in First Christian
Church are eligible for a possible $500 Scholarship (available this year).

Kamp Kaleo
Kamp
Kaleo is a nature-filled oasis of quiet and serenity located in central
Nebraska on the southeastern edge of the beautiful Sandhills region.
The camp sits right on the banks of the scenic North Loup River, just
outside of Burwell, home of Nebraska’s largest rodeo (on Nebraska
Highway 11, a designated Scenic Byway).
Kamp Kaleo is the location of summer church camps for the United Church of Christ (Nebraska Conference) and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nebraska. For summer church campers, Kamp Kaleo offers great fun, friendship, and fellowship.
For 2012, in addition to all the memorable traditional camp activities like swimming, tubing in the river, hiking, crafts, music, and campfire vespers, the curriculum includes the “Secrets of the Kingdom” study series that will draw campers of all ages closer to God.
